It’s been raining so much in Singapore, and even in this weather, there are moments where we can stop to appreciate the beauty it brings. The rainbow after the clouds part, the little mushrooms sprouting out thriving in the moist ground, the cool weather from our regular tropical heat.

In this 2.5 hour workshop kept at a cosy 8 pax, we will show you the steps on how to carve your very own wooden brooches.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to made something both functional and beautiful with wood, this is your chance.

Woodcarving is a calm therapeutic process where wood is shaped with hand tools and loving patience.

No prior experience is required, so this is perfect for beginners or people who want to pick up a new skill and try out crafting in wood.

Participants will get:
• 1 x Mushroom Wooden Brooch (Cherry wood)

• 1 x Rainbow Wooden Brooch (Maple wood)

• Printed guide of steps to carving

• A giant sense of satisfaction!

* Please note:
Due to the nature of sharp tools involved in the woodcarving process, this workshop is only for participants 18 years and above. Wood colour and grain varies from piece to piece.

* Note that there are strictly no refunds, so please book only if you know you can attend. Workshop slots are transferable, so if you are not able to attend, you can ask a friend to take your place. We encourage participants to arrive 10 minutes before to settle down and mingle with your fellow participants before we begin the workshop.
